The United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Ohio, is interviewing for one or more Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) to be located in the Criminal Division of the Cleveland Office.
The Criminal Division is organized into six sections: General Crimes; White Collar Crimes; National Security; Violent Crimes; Narcotics/Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF); and Appellate.
Criminal AUSAs prosecute federal criminal cases in the District. Criminal AUSAs advise federal law enforcement agents on criminal investigations, present criminal cases to the grand jury, try criminal cases before the United States District Court, and represent the United States in criminal appeals before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Candidates should be capable of handling a variety of significant and complex criminal prosecutions.
