Sheriff James R. Voutour and City of Niagara Falls Police Superintendent E. Bryan DalPorto announce the arrest of Stacey M. Lewis, 33 of Niagara Falls, New York. A search warrant was obtained by the Niagara County Drug Task Force based on a several month long investigation into drug sales from the Linwood Avenue address. Lewis was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, B Felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, C Felony; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, A Misdemeanor; Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, A Misdemeanor; Endangering the Welfare of a Child, A Misdemeanor and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, Violation. The charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child was brought due to unsecured narcotics located in areas accessible to a 9 year old juvenile.
At the time of this arrest, Lewis was free on bail pending charges stemming from a search warrant and arrest in September of 2016 where a loaded firearm and narcotics were seized. He is scheduled to be sentenced on the 2016 charges this Thursday, March 16 in Niagara County Court. Lewis was arraigned on the current charges and will be held pending a future court date.
