CONTRACTS
AIR FORCE
            The Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, was awarded a $726,566,728 contract modification which is for the calendar year 2011 sustainment of the F-22 aircraft.  At this time, $388,012,693 has been obligated.  ASC/WWUK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8611-08-C-2897; P00061).
            American Society for Engineering Education, Washington, D.C., was awarded a $39,900,009 contract for administrative support and management of the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Program.  This program is designed to encourage baccalaureate recipients to enter graduate school and ultimately gain doctorates in designated disciplines.  The NDSEGF Fellowship program contract will cover six fellowship classes.  Performance from March 1, 2011, to July 31, 2019.  At this time, $760,000 has been obligated.  Air Force Office of Scientific Research AFOSR/PK, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (FA9550-11-C-0028).
            L-3 Communications Corp., Link Simulation & Training, Arlington, Texas, was awarded a $12,877,622 contract modification.  The initial contract, awarded in December 2008, covered 31 months of development for a fully immersive Block 40/50 F-16 Mission Training Center (MTC).  Priced production options to buy up to 20 MTCs along with operations and contractor logistics support were also included.  The resultant MTCs will network with the other training simulators via the Distributed Mission Operations Network.  This modification adds the M6+OPF concurrency update.  At this time, $3,219,406 has been obligated.  ASC/WNSK, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8621-09-C-6292; P00034).
NAVY
            General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $59,963,504 cost-plus-fixed fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-2104) to exercise an option for continued Virginia-class design for affordability tasking.  The contract action exercises an existing option for continued tasking of design efforts to make the construction of Virginia-class submarines more affordable.  This is a modification to the existing multiyear contract N00024-09-C-2104 that procured one submarine per year for fiscal 2009 and fiscal 2010 and two submarines per year from fiscal 2011 through fiscal 2013.  This contract action enables the Virginia-class program to meet the mandate to reduce acquisition costs by 20 percent by the fiscal 2012 ships.  Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (95 percent), and Quonset Point, R.I. (5 percent), and is expected to be complete by February 2020.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
            Charles Stark Draper Laboratories, Inc., Cambridge, Mass., is being awarded a $57,696,250 firm-fixed-price, fixed-price-incentive contract for Trident II (D5) Guidance System micro circuit wafers and strategic systems programs alteration repair equivalent units.  Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla. (44.9 percent); Pittsfield, Mass. (29.9 percent); El Segundo, Calif. (13.6 percent); and Cambridge, Mass. (11.6 percent).  Work is expected to be completed June 30, 2013.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contact was not competitively procured.  The Navy Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-11-C-0014).
            Swiftships Shipbuilders, LLC, Morgan City, La., is being awarded a $20,221,529 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-2210) for the detail, design and construction of four 28-meter coastal patrol crafts (CPCs) and associated crew familiarization training and technical services for the Egyptian Navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program.  Swiftships will provide two co-assembly kits and two co-production kits to support the construction of the four 28-meter CPCs.  These kits, consisting of all material necessary for construction, will be shipped to Alexandria, Egypt, for construction by an Egyptian workforce, with oversight by Swiftships.  Work will be performed in Morgan City, La. (75 percent), Alexandria, Egypt (25 percent), and is expected to be completed by February 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
            BAE Systems, Nashua, N.H., is being awarded a $19,733,804 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development of the fixed wing Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System II for the AV-8B and A-10 aircraft to support a joint capability technology demonstration.  Work will be performed in Nashua, N.H., and is expected to be completed in May 2013.  Contract funds in the amount of $7,519,430 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-11-C-0033).
            CACI Systems, Inc., Chantilly, Va., is being awarded a $5,772,842 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-06-C-0074) to exercise an option for services and supplies in support of the design, development, prototyping, modification, integration test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance, life cycle and logistics support of command, control, communication, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance electronic systems.  Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (80 percent), and St. Inigoes, Md. (20 percent), and is expected to be completed in May 2011.  The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
            CDW Government, LLC , Vernon Hills, Ill. (N65236-11-D-4101); GTSI Corp.*, Herndon, Va. (N65236-11-D-4102); Mercom, Inc.*, Pawley’s Island, S.C. (N65236-11-D-4103); Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va. (N65236-11-D-4104); and The Whitlock Group*, Richmond, Va. (N65236-11-D-4105), are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, fixed-price, multiple award supply contract for audiovisual technology.  Each contractor will be awarded $10,000 at the time of award.  These contracts are for a base period of one year and four additional option years.  These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $500,000,000.  These five contractors will compete for the delivery orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.  If all options are exercised, work could continue until February 2016.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The multiple award contracts were competitively procured with full and open competition via the Space and Naval Warfare System Command e-commerce website and the Federal Business Opportunities website, with six offers received.  Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
            Metro Medical Equipment & Supply, Inc.*, Saint Louis, Mo., is being awarded a maximum $45,000,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract for surgical and diagnostic equipment.  Other locations of performance are Massachusetts, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.  Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.  There were originally 99 proposals solicited with 68 responses.  The date of performance completion is Feb. 9, 2016.  The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM200-11-D-8204).
ARMY
            Fordice Construction Co., Vicksburg, Miss., was awarded on Feb. 8 a $13,327,351 firm-fixed-price contract.  The award will provide for flood control services, channel improvement, and an articulated concrete mattress casting along the Mississippi River and its tributaries.  Work will be performed in Delta, La., with an estimated completion date of Sept. 8, 2011.  The bid was solicited through the Federal Business Opportunities website, with two bids received.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, Vicksburg, Miss., is the contracting activity (W912EE-11-C-0002).

At any moment a live deejay can broadcast and a morning show or news programming is possible, all playlists are run automatically. One positive of this is the fact that the software ensures that all artists get paid their royalties and this station avoids any fines for digital media issues. Update: Mystuffnow is currently off the air.
