(Tuesday, February 01, 2011) Kansas City, Kan. - Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offices in Kansas City have been closed due to the weather. The decision was made after being informed by the international carries, which fly into Kansas City International Airport, they have canceled flights.
CBP is working closely with the airport authority, airlines, trade community and external stakeholders to keep them up to date with the latest information related to the status of operations.
CBP has taken steps to ensure that staff is in place to process arriving passengers and diverted flights, once international air operations resume.
